Subjective assessment of who lives well in Sberbank.
I believe that 80% of the success that can be achieved at Sberbank, if you follow the Pareto 20/80 rule, depends on the specific office (its territorial location, internal layout and incoming client flow) and only 20% is due to the people who work in it. Someone will disagree with this, but this is my opinion, formed by years of work at Sberbank. At least with a specific question, “How did you manage to achieve this?!”, I often received an honest answer, not for management or commissions, but an honest “It happened that way.”
For a comprehensive assessment, it is necessary to distinguish three main types of Sberbank office:
1 Type of offices - line offices, located near the metro and in shopping and entertainment complexes. 2 Type of offices - Social offices. Their main clients are people of retirement age, the majority of clients are permanent, there are few or no new clients. Basic operations: depositing and withdrawing money, receiving a pension, making deposits. As a rule, such offices always fulfill the plan for Deposits, or even exceed them by 120-150%, because Grandparents, out of habit, trust their money to Sberbank, despite the low deposit rates relative to the market.
3 Type of offices - Peripheral offices. Located in the suburbs and on the outskirts of the city. There are absolutely comical cases when a client takes a number, withdraws money from an ATM and takes his pink, blue, yellow receipts to the operator, instead of simply paying them with a card. And here the task of KBP, your task, is to catch such a client, grab him from the queue, transfer him to the terminal, and simultaneously activate free services.

In general, do not be surprised when you come across customers who insert something that cannot be inserted into various slots of the ATM. Read what is written, they have bad manners (bad manners). It is an absolutely normal phenomenon when the client inserts a card into the slot marked “Receipt Tape”, ignoring the slot marked “Bank Card”. Or they may throw coins into the bill acceptor, indignant that it is inconvenient to put them there. If an ATM malfunctions, this happens, as a rule, every 100th client, in general it is rare, but I found myself in such a situation 3 times, and the client initially did not want to use the “shaitan machine”. Here the price of the issue arises, if it’s small and you have a penalty to the “Charisma” and “Eloquence” skills, it can work, but if your green brother ate a lot of money, then only +10 to eloquence can save you, otherwise you’ll have to cast the spirit “Leader” "and try to retreat under his protection, simultaneously placing immobilization runes on the client.

Motivation. In the process of evolution, motivation in Sberbank is getting worse and worse... Just a couple of years ago, employee incomes were decent, but now... So, you will have a salary in the range of 15-18 thousand rubles, when the motivation was revised, especially fort KBPs received good income up to 25 thousand rubles. There is a monthly bonus, which directly depends on your fulfillment of the plan for selling FREE products. “Selling free things” sounds funny. The monthly bonus also includes deposits opened through an ATM and terminal, for clients plus a higher rate in relation to open deposits through operators. In this embodiment, KBP becomes a direct competitor of operations officers and managers, because for an operator this is bread and the opportunity to receive a decent salary, and for a manager, opening deposits is included in their personal performance indicators... Wait for the storm, prepare for war...
Of the minuses. Many managers harness the KBP to perform unusual tasks, in general, if there is a team and you fulfill your indicators, then it is not stressful, and it is also interesting: Water the flowers, clean up and take out the garbage, replace advertising, issue license plates, scan documents, do inventory for the archive, call the client, fill out an application with the client..., some things you do after work...
The quarterly bonus includes 5 indicators, and also has a reduction factor of 0.7, it is beautifully called “Standard for an official tweedledum”, but you and I are Russian people and call a spade a spade...

If you play games, then you know that the “Luck” indicator affects the amount of gold found in chests, the size of a critical hit, the trophies that you can take from a killed monster... This is more of a task for managers and executives, but nevertheless the indicator affects your income.

Auto payment. Weight 10%. Your connections and those of your colleagues are taken into account; the indicator is transparent and depends mainly on you. Dare...

Quality. Weight 20%. This is the first possible difficulty you will encounter. More details here. As a rule, in nature there is nothing in its pure form, gold 999, the air consists of 79% oxygen and 21% nitrogen, white color is a set of colors, but chemistry and physics, and in general the laws of the universe are completely ignored by the management of Sberbank, i.e. .To. They set a goal of 100% completing the mystery shopping process. For the convenience of everyone and you too, they were developed... not at all like that... like Moses with whom God communicated and gave him the 10 commandments, which Moses conveyed to the performers... Your management gives you a “service notebook” and you will burn if you don’t use it, so To finally finish you off, they will give you an Option sheet (more on that later) and a bunch of other booklets... It would be appropriate to use an unloading vest, like the army guys, but they won’t provide you with this. And since office supplies at Sberbank are purchased once a year... oh, that magic word “Office”... you will have to buy everything yourself.
Let's return to the service notepad. There are several purchasing scenarios, one of the scenarios applies to you, my friend. You must go through 5 sales steps: greeting, identifying needs, consultation, selling a service, saying goodbye. Each of these steps has small steps. All steps take about 5 minutes. Ready to introduce yourself to every client and ask what his name is?! Introducing yourself is not difficult; the difficulty lies in the client’s stupor when he wonders why you need his name. But the client’s name needs to be written on the service notebook, ticked, and the completed notebook must be stored like the apple of one’s eye for another 3 months.
In addition, in order to monitor execution, management checks completed (read with ticks and notes) service notebooks during the quarter. Therefore, the main work is not in using 5 steps and a service notebook (instead of sales, you will write questionnaires for 5 minutes, some questionnaires were filled out in the evening for a report), but in searching for a possible secret buyer, using the deductive method, from the general to the specific. Fortunately, management warned about the start of secret purchases. As a result, some KBP, poorly using the deductive method, drained purchases up to 60-70%, the management anathematized them, they were crucified on office doors, whipped on the cheeks with silicone clichés from vacuum sealers and other abominations. Of course, you can sit and chat with every client you live well. If a client immediately tells you to go to hell, it’s definitely not secret. To your sadness, a cloud of clients come to Sberbank, who would be happy to chat with you, discuss politics, football, their life, the life of their girlfriend, low pension, bad politicians... After a while you will be aware of all the latest events, however, with Over time, you will have to develop new skills like “Flash” or “Invisibility” in order to get away from such a client with lightning speed. Otherwise, at the meeting in the evening... You wonder what this is?! I'll tell you a little later... You will share news releases with everyone, but to the strict question HOW MUCH?! You will only throw up your hands, cursing the Greek gods...
So that your life doesn’t seem sweet at all, they give you an Option Sheet, which is a guided survey, i.e. questions that have obvious answers, banking services are tailored to these obvious answers. Absurd, but true, they require you to fill out both forms when working with one client!!! It sounds absurd and stupid, moreover, you need to store them, proving that you are using them. Those who didn’t use it in the evening simply ticked the boxes and put them away in their lockers... They will be punished, because if someone came up with this, then they must use it. After all, the people who came up with this are gurus, and they are confident that only with this miracle will you become mega effective. Now I’ll tell you briefly how they come up with it...
First, management sets really big plans. The bulk of KPIs are young people who have to grow and grow into a tough and self-confident position; as a result, only a few fulfill KPIs. A “Sewing Circle” gathers here, where specialists are invited. The plumber gives the task to cook Peking duck, the hairdresser goes to the store and buys chicken, and the doctor starts cooking... Is there a cook around here somewhere?! As a result, the “sewing circle”, after several meetings, comes up with a “medicine” that should help the KBP become more effective and immediately implements it... spoke, listened, responded, decided, decided, calculated the effect... signed and sent it down. After some time, realizing the emptiness of the work done, and yet it is necessary to report on the results, they reduce the planned indicators and report that efficiency has increased by 120%... so it’s not the efficiency that has increased, but the plans have decreased...
Let's go back to the option sheet... You approach the client and ask:
- Do you like it when they give you a back massage, relieve tension, and make you relax?! The client will naturally say YES, it’s hard for me to imagine a person who will say NO... and even if the client prefers being whipped, he is unlikely to admit it... so YES.
- Back massage with aloe and mango milk, Interesting?! Wiping away the saliva that begins to flow abundantly at the ends of the mouth, YES-YES...
- Well, it’s really nice and comfortable when they give you a massage using four hands?!
Finish, the client is beating in ecstasy, YES-YES-YES-YES, I want... where... where to run....

I was confused that some items were priced as if Sberbank were buying them at the office supply store around the corner at retail, and not wholesale. 4. Lending. Weight 20%. There is no direct influence, this is the manager’s task. But you can hand out booklets to each client and tell them about lending. The manager will only thank you.

Queues. No? Weight 20%. I don't even know where to start. An indicator that is included in the personal KPI of all management and all employees, at the same time it does not affect any commission income, it is a fiction... but they are severely punished for it and called to sweep the carpets. Its goal is to reduce the client's waiting time in line. The idea is simple: the customer should wait less than 10 minutes before being served. And here a lot depends on the type of office. This indicator can be honestly done only in the Peripheral offices; other offices carry it out according to the principle “Just to get it done.” Management sets a goal as in the joke:

It’s especially funny to watch how the first client coming in stands and thinks about what to choose, and at that moment a mysterious hand, appearing out of nowhere, is already frantically pressing the screen. Moreover, this hand didn’t care what service its owner needed.
Those who enter first are also gifted, they take the coupon that is printed for themselves, and continue to calmly study the menu; the next freshly printed coupons also end up in their hand. Then there is usually a small skirmish, after explaining to each other who is a goat, who is a sheep and how animals differ from humans, remembering in vain relatives and who someone is like, the participants in the philological process are placed on the benches. There are certain cadres who have learned through bitter experience that if you come first, it is not a fact that you will be called first, they dial their numbers in all possible directions. With a machine-gun belt of license plates, they sit contentedly, wait and admire their mega resourcefulness.

As a rule, the most valuable employees choose their vacation time first, although this rule does not apply in all offices.

You actively push clients, offer, sell, help, offer, sell, help... you have lunch in 10 minutes, during lunch on the vision board you write current problems (learn to speak beautifully) and ways to solve them, you don’t squander your ideas, but carefully put them in a chest “KAIZEN”... and again you offer, sell, help... you probably guessed what 3P is... You stay at work for 30-40 minutes, report to your manager about the results for the day (participate in the evening meeting)... Let's summarize the results. In general, the work of the KBP is interesting, I am glad that I went through this path and learned invaluable skills and lessons. The most important thing is that the career did not take long to arrive. On average, if you are a worthy consultant, then in 4-6 months the doors will open for you to the position of Individual Service Specialist (SPS), and if you are on good terms with management and you really know how to sell, in addition you know what PSS is and other abbreviations, then you will become a sales manager (SPM). For my part, I would recommend that KBP go to the first type of office, this is where you will achieve maximum results. Otherwise, you will lose weight and gain weight, like some of my colleagues, in antique offices, by eating sweets and chocolates, received in large quantities from grandmothers who appreciated your help in paying the receipt at the terminal...
