Reports Using the functions of this menu, users can quickly retrieve summary information about the company's activities. The reporting capabilities in 1C are very broad and multifunctional. Note that the reports, as well as the Documents menu, are grouped according to their logical belonging to one or another type of operation, and the names of the sub-items of the menu duplicate the names of the sub-items of the Documents menu. This is understandable, since reports are generated on the basis of primary data, therefore, the means for extracting grouped data from the program have names (logical links) to the documents from which this data is actually extracted. Honestly, this is even better, because it is easier for the user to figure it out. For example, if you need a sales report, you need to go to the Sales submenu, if you need information on warehouse balances, you need to go to the Warehouse submenu and select the List of goods report, etc. Spend 5-10 minutes familiarizing yourself with the Reports menu, this will be enough to memorize general information.
Service A specific menu item, collected atypical functions, mainly intended not for working with data itself, but for performing routine operations with a database, viewing active users, information about the program, a log of user actions, etc. Basically, this menu is used by program administrators or specialists responsible for performing routine operations and procedures.

PRACTICAL RUNNING OF THE APPLICATION
We are more or less familiar with the menu items, the interface, and what next? How to actually start working in 1C? How to run the program for already running business... After all, there is a history of operations, balances, settlements, etc. Let's imagine ourselves in the place of a user who yesterday kept records in a notebook or Excel, and today should start accounting in 1C.
From our practice, there are three types of novice users of the 1C program:
1. Before 1C, they kept records in a notebook, they have no idea what 1C is and, in general, a program for accounting. They deal with automation for the first time.
2. Prior to 1C, they had experience in accounting in special program, but it was not 1C. For some reason, they decided to switch to 1C.
3. Before 1C, they worked in 1C, but an earlier version. Or they worked in 1C for so long that they managed to forget how to work in 1C or the interruption in communication with the program was so great that 1C during this time released so many platform updates that the user's skills were outdated and what they knew, they knew how before it did not seem to be at all now.
At the moment, almost all 1C solutions are being implemented on the 8.2 platform and so far a little less often on 8.3. For whom is it easier to start working? To a user with experience in previous versions of 1C or zero knowledge, the answer is ambiguous. On the one hand, we all know that it is more difficult to retrain, on the other hand, experience with previous versions of 1C can greatly facilitate a work start.

1. Fill out the reference books. At this stage, the so-called all static data is entered into the program. Data that rarely changes. Organization name, product names, storage locations, regular customers, suppliers, etc. When submitting reference books, try to adhere to standards and a certain logical sequence. Try to fill in the initial data as much as possible when you first start the program using the start assistant. If you forget something, do not worry, when entering documents, the program will still prompt you which required fields are not filled in.
2. Add leftovers. After the "skeleton" of the program with the filled out reference books is ready, you can start making the initial residuals. The initial balances include balances on goods, cash balances at the cash desk, on settlement accounts and mutual settlements with customers. 3. Verification... When entering information into the system, no one is immune from errors, so you should definitely check what you entered into the program. Having learned how to work with the program, you will not only fall in love with it, but also make your life much easier. The time for keeping records and submitting reports will be significantly reduced. That 8 is difficult is a delusion. For some, the multiplication table was difficult. How to quickly learn to work with it? To go to a course of about 25 hours? On such courses, I could not even reach the close of the month and profit, thanks to one very slow student who slowed down the whole group. Longer courses of 70 hours are not suitable for everyone, but they are much more useful.
However, there is another way to get training - in the workplace. This training is individual and not based on a cross-cutting example, but on its own account. Together with the consultant, enter your accounting documents, along the way, adjusting the data after the transfer and learning to correct the errors that arise with you. After such training, you will be well aware of the volume of the program that is necessary for you. You will be able to copy documents created at the training stage, because basic operations will be repeated.
Recently, I still use the design technique (coloring) balance sheets to highlight the required accounting analytics. So, for example, I highlight the item groups on account 20 with a brighter color, so that it is more clear whether the costs are collected correctly, otherwise the colors of all three subkontos (division, item group, cost item) merge together in the standard version. Love the program and it will love you.
It seems that calling a consultant is an expensive way, but it all depends on the level and experience of the consultant. You can learn in 5 hours. But of course this is on average, everyone has their own ability to perceive information. There were cases when people trained in 2 hours. The secret was that they very painstakingly kept records in 7-ke, filled in all the analytics and perfectly mastered the program. Having switched to 8-ku, they realized that the interface had changed, there were more automatic operations, opportunities for checking accounting, but the meaning of the accounting has not changed and the workflow is the same and even better.
As far as possible, I will also reveal the possibilities of the program, talk about the difficulties that are surmountable. Of course, there are complex types of accounting that are not fully taken into account in the program, since they are very rare and individual. But then programmers will come to the rescue.
