NFC transport card. Everything about the Troika. Thanks to the application, you can
Well, I believed it, I ran to the operator to change the SIM card. I changed it, connected the service, replenished the balance, I go so happy in the subway. I didn't go to the turnstile right away, I decided to check the balance. Fortunately, on Arbatskaya, unlike Altufevo, the terminal hangs. Works! Reads!
Happy I go to the turnstile, but he will not let me. And the second does not start up. And in general, he will not let any. Sausages him, the inscription "attach again" blinks, but worth to death. The attendants and the policeman look unkind. That is, it reads from the phone normally, but cannot write off. These are high technologies. On Troika's website, you can also find a list of supported devices, which, of course, does not coincide with the previous one, but that's okay. The shit is that the Department of Transport, cheerfully reporting on the successes, forgot to tell us before buying the device at the price of used Zhiguli that everything is not as smooth as he sings to us in his press releases.
Another thing that I don't understand at all how this can be: Galaxy Edge is supported, but Galaxy Edge + is not. More precisely, I can come up with an explanation, but as a consumer, I definitely don’t understand, I don’t want to understand, and I’m 100% sure that it shouldn’t be this way. It is clear that they will fix the problem with some kind of firmware, but why not do this BEFORE the device goes on the market? Today I downloaded another update - no, they did not fix it.
The next morning I checked on my Sony Z3 + dual - absolutely everything works: it reads the card, online wallet replenishes, writes down tickets and, most importantly, lets them into the metro unquestioningly, regularly writing off thirty.
Yesterday people wrote to me that a lot of common phones do not support any of the listed services. With a huge number of models of smartphones and all kinds of no-name devices, with constantly updated firmware, all these lists are meaningless and never completely correspond to reality. All this, with the cheerful reports of the capital's officials, creates the impression of some kind of amazing mess, in which device manufacturers also take an active part.
P.S. The funniest thing, but quite in the spirit of a mess, is that there is not a word at all on the Mosgtrtrans website about paying with mobile phones or replenishing the universally accepted Troika. But there is a page about paying with PayPass cards, which is valid for 6 (SIX) bus routes and nowhere else.
P.P.S. Muscovite readers, if you use or have tried to use transport mobile services, please unsubscribe in the comments if your phone reads the Troika card and supports the Mobile Ticket.

Have you ever heard an announcement on the escalator that you can purchase tickets in advance in order to avoid queuing at the windows where the metro employees sell tickets?
Those who use only ground transport have to go down to the metro to replenish Troika - you must admit that it is not very convenient.
With the new application "My travel card" from the Bank of Moscow, you will no longer really have to waste time in queues, or, once again trying to get into the metro, face the fact of a zero balance on the Troika transport card.
It should be noted separately that this is really the first such application that allows not only to read the balance of any transport card (not only Troika cards, but also a regular ticket with a chip sold for urban land transport and metro), but also to purchase a ticket and immediately write it to your existing travel card.
The development of the finished application took a little time, since we quickly created a prototype, and it took more time to customize the solution for normal operation on various phone models.
The most critical functions related to linking a bank card, making a payment on it and working with a client's profile, were done quickly by us, since this is a streamlined and stabilized functionality.

With increasing popularity payment system Apple Pay the demands of its users are also growing. I want to pay with convenient service wherever possible, including in transport. Is it possible to pay Apple Pay on the subway, how to digitize a payment card and enter it into the phone - these questions are often asked by the owners of iPhones. Let's try to give answers to them.
Is it possible to pay in the metro from an iPhone
Apple Pay payment system appeared in Russia in 2016. But the possibility of paying for metro fares with its help has become available to users only in April 2019. And then, with some restrictions:
- you can pay with Apple Pay only in the metro of Moscow and St. Petersburg;
- Payment is supported only by turnstiles with square-shaped sensors.
But in any case, this is a big step forward. In addition, the restrictions are more than offset by the advantages of using the payment service:
- settlement from with Apple Pay can be made not only at turnstiles, but also at ticket offices and subway terminals;
- devices necessary for using Apple Pay are installed at all metro stations;
- when buying a ticket in this way, there is a 20% discount on travel.
In the near future, it is planned to introduce support for the Apple payment service in the subways of Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. At the time of this writing (early 2019), this is not possible, but we advise residents of these cities to follow the news.
By the way! Good news for those with Android smartphones - in the metro of both capitals, you can also pay using the Samsung Pay app.
How to buy a metro ticket from an iPhone
Paying Metro Apple Pay is the same as paying for any other purchase using this payment service. If you use an iPhone or iPad, the algorithm of actions will be as follows:
- open the Wallet app;
- select the required card;
- bring the gadget to the turnstile sensor or terminal at the checkout;
- put your finger on the fingerprint scanner;
- wait for the confirmation of the transaction.
To pay using iWatch, you will need to double-click on the button on the side of the watch case and bring it to the reader on the turnstile or at the cash register so that the watch screen faces the device. As soon as the fare is paid, the clock will vibrate, indicating the successful completion of the operation.
Important! For payment, you can use any bank cards entered in the memory of your gadget.
Linking a transport card to Apple Pay
Residents of the capitals, who often use public transport, usually use the Troika card to pay for travel. This means of payment has long become familiar and convenient. Therefore, the question often arises of how to add a Troika card to Apple Pay in order to continue using it through a smartphone.
Alas, there is no way to add the transport card to the memory of the gadget. Apple Service Pay is designed to work exclusively with bank cards of Visa and MasterCard systems. And Troika is not a bank card and, accordingly, does not meet the necessary conditions for linking to a payment service:
- the card does not belong to any payment system;
- the Troika's number does not match the numbering standards bank cards(11 characters instead of 12);
- Troika has no security code;
- the card does not have a fixed expiration date (it is valid for 5 years after the last use).
That is, even if you try to digitize it, you simply fill in the appropriate fields in Valleta. So, even despite the presence of a modern payment service in your phone or watch, you will have to use the Troika card in its natural form.
In this review, I want to tell you about “ Mobile ticket “, Since many people ask what it is, why and how to connect it. What is a Mobile Ticket? This is, roughly speaking, the Troika card, which is written directly to the SIM card of the phone. To get on public transport, all you have to do is put your phone to the turnstile - and voila, the passage is free.
But there are several conditions, namely:
- SIM card with NFC technology support
- NFC-enabled phone
In order to use a mobile ticket, firstly, you need a SIM card with NFC. You need to come to the office of your operator, and not every office has it, or order through their official website.
I have a Megafon SIM card, and using Megafon as an example, I will tell you about a mobile ticket. Everything will be the same for the other operator. Here we have indicated NFC, respectively, they change your SIM card to a new one for free, the number remains, all services remain.
After you have received a SIM card, we insert it into the phone. The phone must also have NFC, and not every phone supports the Mobile Ticket - the list of supported ones can be seen on the official website of the Troika card.
So, we inserted a SIM card and first of all we go into the applications, select Megaphone. Here we see the item "Mobile ticket".
Press, see the balance - 54 units, state: enabled, auto-replenishment disabled. We can turn it off from here, we can see information about the service.
By default, if we are talking about Megafon, the balance should be 150 rubles. If it drops below 90 rubles, then it is automatically replenished from the mobile phone account up to 150 rubles. Personally, I turned off auto-completion, you can also do this, but it's more convenient to leave it so that it is always on.
In order to replenish a mobile ticket manually, you need to send an SMS to 3210 with the word “Payment” and indicate the amount in rubles, or write “Troika” and the amount in rubles. The money will be charged directly from your phone balance.
For the price - exactly the same as on the Troika, i.e. there are no differences, replenishment of the balance without any interest, a very convenient thing.
As for the cases if your phone is dead. On some phones, for about an hour after it is discharged, the residual voltage on the NFC antenna remains, as it is written, i.e. The mobile ticket will work for some time. But this is probably the only caveat - if the phone has sat down and has not worked for a long time, then you will not be able to go through the Mobile Ticket.
Otherwise, it is extremely convenient, and not only in the metro, but also when paying for travel on buses - just put your phone to the turnstile.
Regarding the devices I tested, in the case of Samsung, you can check the balance by attaching the phone to the reader, but you won't be able to get on the metro. The turnstile starts to beep and ring. In the case of HTC-10, I checked - everything works.
Here is such a thing, really very convenient, I use. So, if you suddenly did not know about it, although it has already existed for a long time, then fill it out. In any case, after changing your SIM card, you will not lose anything, since the number will be saved, the connected services will also be saved, an additional item "Mobile ticket" will simply be added.
